Major honours for St. Sebastian's

St. Sebastian's College, Moratuwa has to be satisfied with a first innings win in their Inter-school Under-19 Cricket Tournament match played at Moratuwa against Nalanda Vidyalala, Colombo. Sebs occupying the crease initially declared at 266 for 7 with Deshan Dias and Charith Fernando making 92 and unbeaten 68 runs respectively. Nalanda were dismissed for paltry 143 runs. Samitha de Mel 4 for 44 and Anuk de Alwis 4 for 54 were among the wickets.

Following on visitors took the revenge and batted until the stumps were drawn and they were 305 for 8. Sayuru de Silva and Dinuk Jayasinghe batted with much responsibility and they made 72 and 68 respectively. Prashan Wickramasinghe contributed 45 runs.
