Thomian cagers favoured to win
The sixth Royal Thomian senior basketball encounter is scheduled to
be payed at Royal College courts at 5.45 p.m. today the 7th November.
Thomians have won all five previous championships this year too, they
are confident of returning the honoures under the lable captaincy of
their crack centner player Shaveen Kapouwatte. It will be a treat to
watch the Tomian combination with Deputy Shehan Gomez and key players
such as Matugama, Sangakkara, Ranasinghe and Kapuwatte brothers.
The Thomians are coached by Panduka Ranasinghe and the Master in
Charge is N.C. Sarath.
Though the Royal team enters the court as the infancied lot they
could pose a threat to the Thomians who are confidant due to their
previous record.
Ranga Perera leads the Royal lagers which is coached by Prasanna
Jayasinghe. The Master in charge is Lal Indra Kumar.
