Foreigner nabbed with forged currency

COLOMBO: A Nigerian citizen was nabbed in Colombo with forged Sri Lanka currency notes last morning.

According to police the Nigerian tourist was arrested at a five star hotel for allegedly printing fake Rs. 1,000 currency notes.

"The suspect had smuggled machines and other equipment required to print the currency notes," sources added.
