SLAF attacks another Tiger target

COLOMBO: Sri Lanka Air Force Mi24 helicopters launched air attacks on LTTE targets in the Wanni yesterday morning.

Air Force spokesman Wing Commander Janaka Nanayakkara said the attack was carried out on an identified LTTE gathering point located 10 kilometres East of Akkrayankulam around 11:30 a.m. According to the spokesman the raid was to support the troops of 57 Division marching towards Kilinochchi.
