Nepal to make new tourism policy

Nepali Minister of Tourism and Civil Aviation, Hisila Yami said
Tuesday the government is planning to bring new tourism policy when
addressing the 10th anniversary ceremony of Nepal Tourism Board (NTB).
Pointing out the present political development, Yami said present
favorable situation in the country's politics is the strongest base for
the development of tourism industry of Nepal. Yami said that government
has already committed to build a second international airport, two
regional airports and to upgrade other domestic airports. She also said
that Nepal's only one international airport in Kathmandu, Tribhuvan
International Airport will be fully modernized to show government's
sincere policy and action toward the development of tourism industry.
