Cargills 'Amazing Discounts'

Cargills Food City 25th Anniversary Celebration of a Lifetime is reaching dizzy heights with the supermarket chain giving away more than Rs 10 million as discounts to their customers within just seven days of the "Amazing Discounts' promotion. "Our plan was to give away Rs 10 million to our customers over the ten days of the promotion which started on November 26, 2008.

But within just 7 days of the campaign we gave away more than Rs 10 million to Sri Lanka in discounts alone," Executive Director, Retail and Restaurants, Cargills (Ceylon) PLC Sidath Kodikara said.

"Cargills Food City has already established itself as the only retailer that offers the lowest prices in country, with shocking discounts which go up to as much as 50%".
