Russia to sign nuclear energy deal with India
INDIA: President Dmitry Medvedev was Friday to
hold talks with Indian leaders aimed at polishing ties with one of
Russia’s most reliable allies as well as signing a landmark new
nuclear energy deal.

Canadian leader suspends Parliament
CANADA: Canada’s opposition parties vowed to
oust Prime Minister Stephen Harper’s government next month after
Harper shut down Parliament to avoid almost certain defeat in an
imminent confidence vote, but infighting among the one of the
parties cast doubt on whether the coalition will hold.
