US attacks condemned in Pakistan
Pakistan: The Legislative Assembly in Balochistan province
strongly condemned the bombings by unmanned US planes against a
Pakistani tribal zone.
The Assembly also passed a motion rejecting Washington's intention to
extend the range of attacks to areas of Balochistan.
According to a US paper, Barack Obama recently received two
intelligence reports asking for authorization to extend the attacks
against alleged Islamic rebel targets.
The motion, presented by the Jamiat Ulema Islam (JUI-F) Party, calls
upon the Pakistani federal government and other institutions to adopt a
firm stance over possible US attacks against Balochistan.
The latest US bombing against a village in the tribal region of
Kurram left 24 people dead and 40 others wounded.
