Police in 83-63 win

The Police Basketball club beat Carlton Basketball club by 83 points to 63 in the Otters Diamond Jubilee president's cup Basketball championship 2009.

At half time Police led by 43 points to 24.

The leading scorers for Police Bc were Sujith Jeewantha (29) and Gazaili Razak (16) with points. Dhammika Perera (15) and Andrew Alphonsus (13) were the leading scores for the Carlton Basketball club. In the other match Air Force sports club beat Otters Basketball club by 44 points to 43 in the same tournament.

At half time Air Force sports club were trailing 39-40points.

Ravi Dadargoda (18) and Indika (21) excelled for Air Force Basketball team. The Otters team's top scorers were Rumesh (22) and Isuru (). Best player of the match was Police player Sujeewa Sampath.
