Chairman, Lanka IOC S.V. Narasimhan said “Nitrogen gas has been used
to inflate the tyres of racing cars, aircraft and heavy commercial
vehicles due to its many benefits. It is for the same reason that the
world is now moving towards using nitrogen gas for normal passenger cars
and 2-3 wheelers.
Nitrogen, a colourless, odourless, tasteless and non-toxic gas that
forms about 78 percent of the Earth’s atmosphere, provides many benefits
over compressed air for inflating tyres. It reduces the tyre’s running
temperature, improves the ride quality, increases tyre life, keeps tyre
pressures more constant, slows the rate of pressure loss and doesn’t
react with the tyre and rim materials” he said.
The company also extended its customer base launching a car care
service package “Servo Express” together with 3M recently.
“We have diversified our business into different sectors with the
purpose of providing excellent customer service. Mainly we have three
service categories, Xpress care, Xpress check up and car detailing. For
car detailing service we have partnered with 3M Sri Lanka and we have 3M
trained service staff to provide excellent car detailing service to our
customers,” Narasimhan said. |
