CH won’t have it easy against Army

The Colombo Hockey and Football Club which suffered a shock defeat at the hands of Navy will go all out to redeem their lost prestige when they confront the Sri Lanka Army in their Caltex ‘A’ Division League rugby match at Police Park today. But the lads from Maitland Crescent won’t have things their own way as the Army too field a strong team having gone down fighting to the mighty Kandy SC (9-30) after two successive wins over Havelocks and Navy.

Air Force Havelocks

At Havelock Park the Sri Lanka Air Force which scored a smashing 31-5 win over the Sri Lanka Police will go flat out to notch up their second successive win when they confront the Havelocks Sports Club.

The Park Club which suffered three successive defeats will have to put up a much better display if they are to prevent the Air Force from emerging victorious.
