Selection trials for SAG on 27, 28

The first selection trial to select the Sri Lankan Athletic pool for the South Asian Games 2010, will be held at Sugathadasa stadium on June 27 and 28.

Over 600 Athletes will be participating in the trials and which also the final selection for the world championships to be held at Berlin.

The 11th South Asian Games will be held at Dhaka Bangladesh, from January 29 to February 8, 2010. This will be the third occasion that the Bangladeshi capital hosting the games. Eight Nations are taking part in the 10th South Asian Games consist of 23 sports events and for the first time, Twenty-20 cricket will be included.

This is expected to be the largest sports event in the history of Bangladesh.
