Seminar on scholarship exam

The People's Bank Kehelwatta branch will conduct a seminar on the forthcoming scholarship examination on August 3, 2009 from 8.30 a.m. to 1.30 p.m. at Sri Sangaraja Central College, Maradana.

It will be conducted by Karunananda Silva.

Students of all schools associated with the People's Bank, Kehelwatta Branch are expected to be participate in this program.


Two workshops

The Kalutara District Office of the Industrial Development Board has organized two workshops on cement based products and fibreglass products. The workshops will be held on two days in Kalutara.

These workshops will be provide opportunities to industrialists and those who envisage to start industries with new technology gaining theoretical and practical knowledge as well.

AGM, felicitation

The Annual General Meeting, Felicitation Ceremony and Family Get-together of the Sri Lanka Queen's and President's Scout Guild will be held today, August 1, at 3.00 p.m. at the Nalanda College Language Centre Auditorium, Colombo 10.

The program will commence with the felicitation of Top Achiever Queen's and President's Scouts who are in the service of the Armed Forces.


Anniversary celebrations

The first anniversary of Malwana Al Mahmood Vidyalaya and the ceremonial opening of the new two storeyed building Halwan Hadji hall built at a cost of Rs.2,000,000 will be held on Sunday at 11.00 a.m. in Ulahitiwala.
