Navy to delist deserters

Sri Lanka Navy has obtained the approval of the Defence Ministry to delist Navy deserters without subjecting them to punishment from Navy tribunal.

Accordingly, all Navy deserters who left service on or before May 31, 2009 will be delisted without punishment.

They are requested to report at the nearest Navy Camp with their National and Navy Identity Cards between August 10, 2009 and September 10, 2009 for delistment.
