Visitors batting first made 241 runs with a sparkling 134 runs by Trevin Fernando. Suresh Asiri took 5 for 31.

In reply homesters made the required runs for the loss of five wickets with Niroshan Fernando unbeaten on 59 runs and Dasan Fernando 62 runs.
