A delegation from the Indian National Defence College 49th Course headed by its Senior Directing Staff Air Vice Marshal SSK Karmakar called on Sri Lanka Navy Commander Vice Admiral Thisara Samarasinghe at the Naval Headquarters in Colombo on Thursday. Here, Navy Commander Thisara Samarasinghe who himself belongs to the 45th Indian National Defence Course presenting a memento to Air Vice Marshal SSK Karmakar.

A meeting to discuss on the common features in the administration of the Justice system in Sri Lanka and China, where there could be a common approach between the two countries, was held at the Chamber of the Chief Justice in the Superior Court Complex. The meeting centered round the Superior Court Complex which was donated by the Chinese Government as a token of friendship between the two countries. Labour Relations and Manpower Minister Athauda Seneviratne in conversation with National Authority on Tobacco and Alcohol Chairman Prof. Carlo Fonseka and Representative for the WHO in Sri Lanka, Dr. F.R.
