Challenge Trophy and annual Rugby Encounter of Old Boys vs
Present Boys at the College Grounds recently. Here the Past

Zahira Old Boys Rugby Association organized the Zahira Ranaviru
Challenge Trophy and Annual Rugby Encounter of Old Boys vs Present Boys
at the College grounds recently.
The two big matches were played between past and present Zahirians.
Past Zahirians won the match 24-5. Past Zahirians Team Captain Nazim
Gaffoor received the Ranaviru Challenge Trophy from chief guest former
President of the Sri Lanka Rugby Football Union and Senior DIG Nimal
Lewke.
The Sri Lanka Freedom Party Colombo District Organizer Fawzan Anver
gave away the Mjr. Ifthikar Yoonus Trophy to Present Boys Team’s best
player Inthikab Sheriff, Commander Uvais Gazzali Trophy to Old Boys Team
Captain T. Saldin and Fazal Burah Trophy to emerging player of present
boys team Captain Mohamed Sailan, Zahira College Sports Committee Tony
Amith, Board of Governors Secretary Rizvi Niyas, Members of the Rugby
Association and old boys were present at the event. |
