Vajrasana posture |

Place the palms on the knees |
In Yoga the these two postures help proper functioning of the body
and rejuvenate veins in all parts of the body. Vajrasana posture is
widely popular in Japan, Korea and China to sit on the floor and for
meditation. It helps the smooth functioning of the digestive system and
improves concentration power.
However those suffering from fractures in the leg or ankle should not
practise this posture. Persons experiencing pain in the knees and the
legs should also refrain from practising these postures.
Vajrasana
Step1: Stretch both legs out. Fold the left leg in the knee.
Step 2: Fold the right leg also in.
Step3: Now sit on the pit formed by parted heels.
Step4: Place the palms on the knees.
Veerasana
While being in the Vajrasana pose sit on the floor by parting the
legs. |
