Calling past hockey players of Wesley

Arrangements have been made to hold a meeting for the development of hockey at Wesley College on October 30 (Friday) at the College Hall at 6.00 p.m.

The principal of Wesley College and the President of the Hockey Development Council of Wesley requests all past hockey players and present hockey players along with their parents to attend this meeting to revive and develop hockey at Wesley.

Charith (132) shines in drawn game

All rounder Charith Jayampathy hit a superb 132 as D. S. Senanayake College forced a draw to their inter school cricket tournament against St. Sebastian’s College concluded at Wijerama Mawatha yesterday. St. Sebastian’s:

Asoka Vidyalaya, Maradana, Colombo Old Boys Association has organised Six-A-Side Cricket Tournament between old boys and present boys on November 1, at Race Course Grounds, Reid Avenue, Colombo.

The winning team will receive Rs. 15,000 cash award and trophy.
