Paddy lands re-cultivated

Kalawana Divisional Agriculture Committee will take measures to re-cultivate paddy in 268 acres of abandoned paddy fields in the Kalawana electorate in the Maha Season.

Kalawana Divisional Agrarian Services Officer N.S. Athuratiyagama said that there are 200-acres of abandoned paddy lands in the area.

Pothupitiya Divisional Agrarian Services Officer G.H. Kodikara said that there are 68 acres of abandoned paddy land in his area.
