Bollinger, Watson star in Aussie win
Series level at 2 - all with three to go:
Doug Bollinger and Shane Watson shared six
wickets as Australia beat India by 24 runs in the fourth one-day
international here on Monday to square the seven-match series 2-2.
Left-arm paceman Bollinger took 3-38 while Watson picked 3-29 to
bowl out India for 226 in 46.4 overs after Cameron White top-scored
with 62 in Australia’s total of 250 all out in 49.2 overs.

boys basketball tournament took off to a great start yesterday at
the Colombo International School court. Basketball is a contact
sport and for many little girls and boys it was their first contact

Boxer Anusha wins a Bronze medal
Sri Lanka’s Anusha Kodituwakku put up a splendid
performance to win a bronze medal at the 3rd Asian Women’s Indoor
Games which is now in progress in Hanoi, Vietnam. Kodituwakku was up
against Mary Murayama of Japan in the first fight in the
preliminaries of the pin weight. Although Mary put on a brave fight,
she was no match for the agile Anusha Kodituwakku who kept on
scoring well until she won the bout by 25 points to 8.
