Uruguay-Russia boost ties

Uruguay: The Uruguayan Secretary of State stressed Wednesday the excellent moment of the relations between Uruguay and Russia and the possibilities of maintaining it, including energetic subjects.

A press release said a meeting was held on November 02 of the Mechanism of Consultations in Moscow, Russia.

The release stresses that the talks were chaired by Nelson Fern ndez, and Serguei Riabkov, both Deputy Ministers of Uruguay and Russia respectively.

The communication informs that there were many aspects of the political and the bilateral economic-commercial relations, as well as regional subjects of common interest. According to the source, it has displayed interests in railroad subjects and possible associations to build in Uruguay fast airplanes and omnibus.
