The Junior English Debating Day of Ananda College was held at the
Kularathna Hall recently.
Seth Ganepola who won the Best Speaker Award receives the Trophy from
Chief Guest Ranjith Uyangoda, the Director General of South Asia and
SARRC Division and Director of Public Communications Division of the
Foreign Affairs Ministry.
Seth Ganepola was trained by Dhammika Owitigala and Udara Madihahewa
who are in charge of the Junior English Section and Harendra Dahanayake.
Lecturer at the Sri Jayawardenapura University Manel Jayasinghe was
the Guest of Honour. Acting Principal of Ananda College Dias Dharmasena
also participated at the event. |
