Panama to revive social program

Panama: The social program Opportunities Network, designed by the previous administration, will be revived by the present Panamanian Government, reported official sources.

Social Development Minister Guillermo Ferrufino pointed out that he will reintroduce the mechanism, before many no-work months which generated worries among the thousands of people benefited by the initiative. Authorities will materialize payments retroactively and will also add the December payment, that is why they will spend about 24 million dollars.
