People should respect law and not fear it

Law and politics have one thing in common - people. Through good laws politicians as legislators create the framework for a just society in which people can live, work and prosper, while lawyers apply and interpret the laws, so that fairness and justice prevail. Under these circumstances, citizens will have confidence in the law and justice system. It is important that people should respect the law and not fear it.
