Urology Congress begins today

A fifteen member delegation of the Section of Urology of the Royal Society of Medicine, UK is in Sri Lanka to hold a joint academic meeting with the Sri Lankan Urologists.

The visit will coincide with the 10th anniversary of the Sri Lanka Association of Urological Surgeons (SLAUS), who will hold their annual academic sessions from today to 28 in Colombo.

The team is headed by Peter Thompson, President of the Urology Section, Royal Society of Medicine and Senior Consultant Urological Surgeon at the King’s College Hospital, London. The SLAUS President, Dr. Serozsha Goonewardena, Senior Urological Surgeon from Sri Lanka, will be coordinating program.
