Tourist influx after dawn of peace

The Tourism Ministry has drawn up a plan to obtain the services of other ministries to develop the facilities needed to meet the demands created by influx of tourists after the restoration of peace in the country. Meanwhile, Sri Lanka Hotel Management Training Centre too has drawn up a plan to train the necessary personnel in the trade. Accordingly, the hotel school will produce nearly 5,000 trained personnel in 2010. Additionally, batches of beach boys and threewheel drivers too will be trained as part of the program.
