Sparkling 193 n.o. by Oshada

Oshada Fernando of St. Sebastian’s College, Moratuwa notched up his third century for the season with an unbeaten 193 runs which included twenty three hits to the ropes and three over and occupying the crease for three hundred and twenty minutes and facing 216 balls is the highlight of the first day’s play in their inter-school under 19 cricket match against Thurstan College, Colombo played at Moratuwa.

Sebs piled up 354 runs and skipper Anuk de Alwis missed a well deserved century by eight runs. When the stumps were drawn, visitors were 23 for 1.
