ILMS City Campus event management sixth intake

ILMS City Campus are the pioneers in event management education in Sri Lanka. “We introduced this very popular Diploma to Sri Lanka late 2007 and now we have advertised again for 2010- for the sixth intake,” ILMS City Campus Executive Director-CEO Saroja Weeratunga said.

“This time we have updated the syllabus, having understood the new trends in the industry, and we shall now cover the following areas - event planning, advertising in event management, how to make the best for your brand, the role of the EMCEE in an event, PR in events, creativity in event management, event marketing, event management from the client’s point of view, and law relevant to event management.

“We have also invited the students of the previous batches to be present for this new lectures free of charge, so that they too are well versed in the new trends in the event industry,” she said.

Saroja Weeratunga also said that they are proud to have the best persons in the event industry as their resource persons who were also instrumental in designing the syllabus.
