Drink more water to cool off hot weather

Drink more water to keep the body and mind healthy these days. It is natural to feel uneasy, depressed and angry these days because of the hot weather, a Healthcare and Nutrition Ministry spokesman said.

According to the spokesman the majority are complaining about the hot weather and feel more depressed and angry than other days. The discomfort in bodies created by hot weather is the main reason for this condition.

The Ministry received information from rural hospitals about a common discomfort reported by farmers and other persons who work hard in paddy fields.

Such persons often visit hospitals in the evenings to seek medical treatment for shivering, he said.
