President provided many facilities for plantations

The Government led by President Mahinda Rajapaksa has provided many
facilities for the development of estate infrastructure, said Central
Province Hindu Culture Minister V.S. Radhakrishnan.
So the United People’s Freedom Alliance should be favoured by the
estate voters. To get more facilities and developments for estates, it
is every estate workers duty to work hard for the implementation of
President’s Mahinda Chinthana.
Radhakrishnan was speaking after opening Brownlow Cultural Hall for
estate workers to be used for their cultural activities and weddings
yesterday. He said, so, I call upon the estate workers to make use of
this building for the convenience of estate workers. The estate workers
are not able to spend a lot of money for Wedding Halls in cities ranging
from Rs. 35,000 to Rs. 60,000.
It is the reason why the Estate Infrastructure Development Ministry
has built a cultural hall at this estate in Maskeliya area, said
Minister V.S. Radhakrishnan.
V.S. Radhakrishnan, who deputised Muthu Sivalingam, Deputy Minister
of Estate Infrastructure Development, who allocated a sum of Rs. 35
lakhs from his Ministry for the building.
Whatever developments that were implemented so far on estates were
done through the Ceylon Workers’ Congress and the Youth Empowerment,
Socio Economic Development Minister Arumugam Thondaman and Estate
Infrastructure Deputy Minister Muthu Sivalingam.

Ravichandiran, District Leader of CWC, V. Dineshkumar, Ch. Co-ordinator
for Estate Infrastructure Development, A. Jegadeeswaran, CWC Town
