Budget proposals for 2010:
Strong progress in economic stability
The Government presented the budget for 2010 in
Parliament yesterday with a forecast GDP growth of 6.5 to 7 percent
for the year. The budget deficit of Rs 438.8 billion will be 8
percent of the forecast budget.
