Northern youth participate at Sisuderiya program

Around 500 youth from the Northern Province performed cultural events at the National Youth Services Council in Maharagama Friday morning.

Northern Province Governor Major General G A Chandrasiri said after long practice nearly 500 youths from the Northern Province performed at the Sisuderiya National Program held at the National Youth Services Council, Maharagama.

Among the participants were schoolchildren from Northern Province, he added.

“This will give an opportunity to the youth to expose their talent and take part in national events. The program was held to enhance youth’s knowledge and skills,” Chandrasiri told the Daily News.
