Suspect arrested
The Colombo Crime Division yesterday arrested a
suspect who is alleged to have collected Rs 800,000 from a Sri
Lankan living abroad on behalf of an Army Captain who had been taken
into custody.

Obtained Rs two billion from people to distribute teak land
The Special Investigation Unit Mirihana
yesterday arrested the Managing Director of a company who is alleged
to have collected a sum of Rs 2 billion from 20 persons promising
them a land of 20 purchase each to grow teak plants.
