The average Weighted Prime Lending Rate (AWPLR) and the Lowest Prime Rate 
(LPR) during the week ended 20th August, 2010 
by all commercial banks were 10.49 percent and 8.50 percent respectively.

The Average Weighted Deposit Rate (AWDR) of the commercial banks for 
the month of July, 2010 was 6.92 per cent.
