‘State investment highest since Independence’
Several ministers yesterday declared that the
2012 budget proposals have focused on massive overall development of
the country. They also said that state investment has reached Rs 497

No laws planned to sing National Anthem only in Sinhala
National Languages and Social Integration
Minister Vasudeva Nanayakkara stated that no plans were afoot to
formulate laws to the effect that the National Anthem of Sri Lanka
should be sung only in the Sinhala language.
