Suspect with heroin nabbed at airport
A foreigner who arrived in the country after
swallowing 118 heroin capsules was taken into custody at the
Bandaranaike International Airport. The suspect, a Pakistani, who
arrived in the country at 3.30pm on Saturday from Pakistan was taken
into custody on suspicion at the airport,

Foreigner killed in brawl
A foreigner was killed when he tried to get
involved in solving a confrontation between two local teams inside a
hotel in Madilla area, Tangalle, Police Spokesman SSP Ajith Rohana
told the Daily News. The victim had tried to stop a fight between
two local teams.
