departed soul of Sri Lanka. I recall the time when Lalith
Athulathmudali was assassinated. I had never thought somewhere in
the future I will be connecting with him in this manner.

KDU, dedicated to serving nation
The KDU provides a great service to the country
by producing disciplined and professionally qualified manpower for
the three armed forces with the objectives of fostering the spirit
of comradeship among officer cadets and a sense of national unity
among the officer corps of the Army, Navy and Air Force. As a
result, joint operations are facilitated in the course of their
service. Facilities and instructions are provided in academic
studies for officer cadets in preparation for the first degree in
subjects that are relevant to their profession. Courses are provided
to officers of the Armed Forces and others selected by the Board of
Management to qualify for post-graduate degrees,
