Septuagenarian dies, two injured in collision

A 76-year-old woman died and two others were injured and admitted to the Ratnapura hospital when a private bus from Embilipitya to Ratnapura collided with a motorcycle they were riding on the opposite direction at Ambalanwatta, Kahawatta around 6.30 p.m. on August 6.

The victim was identified as P. M. Podinona of Buluwana, Kahawatta. Kahawatta Police is investigating.
