UNESCO Director-General Irina Bokova visiting world heritage sites in Polonnaruwa. Education Minister Akila Viraj Kariyawasam who is also chairman of the Sri Lanka National Commission for UNESCO, Archaeology Director General Dr. Senarath Dissanayake and other officials accompanied Bokova who arrived in the country on Saturday on a four day official visit.
