peeping tom released on bail

A householder in the Uduwara, Hali-Ela area arrested by Hali-Ela police for fixing a video camera to a toilet used by a girl boarded at his house was released on Rs. 5,000 cash bail with a Rs. 100,000 surety by the Badulla magistrate.

The arrest was made following a complaint made by the girl. She had stated that she noticed the outfit several days after it had been fixed. Police said the suspect had fixed the camera unknown to his wife.
