Kalutara Vidyalaya beat Karandeniya Central by three wickets in their inter school first eleven cricket match played at Kalutara.
Visitors batting first were bowled out for a paltry 74 runs with Chanuka Lakshan claiming 5 for 31 and in reply homesters were all out for 170 runs with Nadeera Dilshan scoring 54 runs and Ishan Pramodya captured 6 for 30 and in their second essay visitors did much better to score 154 runs and Avishka Lakshan bagged 5 for 51 and set to make 59 runs for an outright win Kalutara lads had to struggle and finally they were 63 for 7 with Kavindu Milan capturing 5 for 22.
Karandeniya Central - 74 - Chanuka Lakshan 5/31, Inshaka Siriwardena 4/21 and 154 - Avishka Lakshan 5/51, Insaka Maduwantha 4/60.
