Twelve traders fined for selling cigarettes to minors

Twelve traders who pleaded guilty to the charge of selling cigarettes to minors were fined Rs. 1,500 each by the Narammala Magistrate Ruwan Dhammika Dissanayake and warned them severely not to commit the offence again.

The errant traders are residents of Narammala, Kivulgalla, Dampellssa, and Rammuthugale.

Officers from the Narammala MOH office prosecuted.
