Man robbed at Dambulla bus stand

A man was robbed of Rs. 5,000 at the Dambulla main bus stand by a four-member gang on May 6, police said.

One suspect was arrested, Dambulla Police said. The man had come from Galwetiyawa to Dambulla to take back his mobile phone at a repair shop near the bus station. Since the shop was closed, he turned back and was caught by the gang who robbed him of Rs. 5,000.

The looters are drug addicts, police said. Investigation are continuing.
