Well known film Producer, Dr. Arosha Fernando who has produced 14 films within a short span of 4 years covering all three streams commercial, art and middle path will be World Premiering his latest film production, a classical comedy Breaking News on May 28 at the Monash Cinema theatre in Clayton, Melbourne, Australia with three show times 1pm, 3.45pm and 6.30pm.
BREAKING NEWS is directed by the senior film artist and director Lucky Dias with a rich cast of late Wijaya Nandasiri, Mahendra Perera, Lucky Dias, Himali Siriwardhana, Nayanathara Wickramarachchi, Gayesha Perera, Rex Kodippili, Lasantha Udukumbura, Shiromika Fernando, Bindu Bothelegama etc.
Music by the award winning music director Dharshana Ruwan Dissanayake with lyrics by Jayantha Chandrasiri and Amila Thenuwara and with the voice of legendary singer Angelin Goonathilake, Uresha Ravihari and Rooney.
Both the Producer Dr. Arosha Fernando and the Director Lucky Dias are proud old boys of the Ananda College in Colombo, and the funds raised from the World Premiere show will be used towards number of community events to be run in Melbourne by the Old Anandians Association of Victoria (OAAV).
BREAKING NEWS is lined up for a local release towards end of the year, and expect to bring a new experience to the film goers.
