The Meteorology Department said that Colombo, Gampaha and Hambantota districts will experience several spells of rain today.
Thunder showers are to be expected in the Sabaragamuwa, Central Province and Galle, Matara and Kaluthara districts.
Heavy falls of over 50 mm can be experienced in Ratnapura, Kegalle, Kandy, Galle, Matara and Kaluthara districts, the Met. Department further said.
