No discussion on special court: SLFP

Corruption allegation over previous regime:

No discussion was held within the Sri Lanka Freedom Party (SLFP) with regard to the setting up of a special court to investigate corruption alleged to have occurred during the Rajapaksa regime, Social Empowerment, Welfare and Kandyan Heritage Minister S.B.Dissanayake said.

He was responding to a question by a journalist who asked the SLFP’s opinion on the statement made by Co-cabinet spokesman Rajitha Senaratne at the weekly cabinet media briefing claiming that a special court will be set up to investigate corruption occurred during the previous regime.
