The Naimbala State dispensary building in the Thihagoda Divisional Secretariat Division is in a state of disrepair. The premises has been abandoned and overgrown with wild plants, weeds and bushes.

People in Naimbala, Thihagoda, Bandathara, Nadugala, Athtudawa, Welletota, Narangala, Kitalagama East 1,2 and 3, Kitalagama West and Kitalagama Central Grama Niladhari areas are facing difficulties in seeking medical treatments due to the abandonment of the dispensary.

According to residents, there is no adequate accommodation in the rented building in which the dispensary is functioning.
