Mihindu Cultural Foundation which is headed by seasoned artiste Sathischandra Edirisinghe has organized the Suwanda Padma felicitation ceremony for the sixth year. The event will be held on October 29 at 3 pm at the Bishops College auditorium.
The chief guest will be Prof J B Dissanayake. Dharshana Ratnayake will make the key note address. 16 artistes will be felicitated with awards at the event while 20 more artistes will get the Suwanda Padma Rajitha awards with cash prizes.
Jayantha Ratnayake composed the music. Chandana Wickramasinghe choreographed the dance. Victor Ratnayake, Sunil Edirisinghe, Edward Jayakody and Jagath Wickramasinghe will sing at the event.
