MAS Holdings dominate Mercantile Athletics

MAS Holdings put up an outstanding performance to clinch the overall title for the first time at the 34th Mercantile Athletics Championships which was concluded at the Mahinda Rajapaksa Sports Complex in Diyagama recently.

MAS Holdings dominated the 3-day meet and gained a total of 567 points beating the defending champions Sri Lanka Telecom (SLT) into second place with 404 points.

A total of 30 records were established and one record was equalled at this meet which attracted well over 2,000 athletes from 54 Mercantile firms.
